Another low weight match, but a great match where any of the top ten weights could have produce the winning weight today.
Almost putting his method rod away and fishing a very long black stick to take the top spot was Andy Gaunt, catching nine skimmers and some chunky perch on pinkie hookbait, Andy put 10lb 12oz on the scales for a, as Andy would say, surprising match win. Well done Andy 💥💥💯💯
Second place and nice to see him back on the bank after a very traumatic month, Tony Baxter. Tony had 10lb 9oz consisting of one tench, ten skimmers and some bits on a mixture of method and cage feeder. Well done Tony, I think everyone was glad to see you back in the winners enclosure
Then on the next but one peg from Tony was Phil Charlton, Phil had some big skimmers and a few perch for 10lb 4oz swapping around just about every tactic except chucking a lure.
Sections
A section, anyway to win the section money is a good way and the triple default goes to Rob Bearton with 8lb 14oz, Rob had a one bream six skimmers and a couple if perch
B Section Les Moody 9lb 9oz, three bream and four skimmers on the pole with worm hookbait. Les did manage loose his top two to a carp, he did retrieve it all, in case you hadn’t heard.
Throw yourselves in Dave Singer. You did say if I hear that story once more you can throw me in, 🙉🙉
C section Mark Gregory, never had a bite on the feeder, so stuck with the pole for one bream, one tench and a few bits for 9lb 10oz.
D section with thirteen odd fish at the last count was Andy Toplis, weighing fourteen skimmers for 8lb 4oz all on cage and maggot hookbait.
Golden Pegs were 16 and 30 so another rollover until next Wednesday.
Very quite on the reservior today, but he’s back on Sunday.
