Perfect day for a few bites. Little bit of warm, light wind. Sun on your back and if you were on the Benidorm bank, shorts and Ts were a pefect combination. That for most of the anglers was the highlight of the day. I don’t think anyone actually blanked, but fish were hard to come by.
Graham Cocker left it late, very, very late to find a tench on or very near the all-out at 4pm, pushing Ray Bradley into second place by 1oz.
Graham had two tench, one bream and a skimmer for 13lb 5oz all on the pole, feeding caster and worm hookbait. Well done Graham, good weight on another difficult day 💥💥💯💯
So Ray ended up in second place on peg 42 with 13lb 4oz, two tench, three bream and a skimmer on method and pellet hookbait.
Third place was Steve Bullock, Steve fished his killer tactics of waggler with maggot hookbait netting 9lb 15oz consisting of two bream, one tench and seventeen bits, all on maggot hookbait.
    Sections
A section Les Moody fishing hybrid feeder, Les netted four skimmers and a big hybrid for 6lb 4oz.
B Section Dave Clark, Dave fish pole most of the day then a change to feeder which brought a bonus bream in the dying minutes plus four pounds of roach for 6lb 9oz.
C section Keith Burton 9lb 11oz three small bream and five skimmers all on method and wafters.
D section Paul Burton 5lb 2oz two bream and two skimmers on a mix of method and cage feeder.
Golden Pegs were 18 and 40 and not won again, so its a Wednesday rollover.
Thanks to Andy Scott and John Annable for weighing in today much appreciated. Thanks to Tony for sorting the match today, glad to see you back.
Thanks to Nigel Ellis for the wood and scaffold poles.

    Thanks, good turn out today
    Tony and Steve.
