Codnor Park results 27/7/25

The Park fished very similar to last Wednesday, with only three weights into double figures again. The Park has fished really well Thursday, Friday and Saturday, for the pleasure anglers, with weights between 30 and 60lbs especially in the high 30s and 40s. So what happened today?
Change of tactics half way through the match, saw Dave Frith move from pole to cage feeder and maggot hookbait. The move brought in five bream and a tench for 18lb 5oz and a match win. Great change Dave and well done 💯💯💥💥
Second place and on a good run of form, Kev Davies. Fishing with his new pole, Kev christened it with two tench and two skimmers feeding casters and worm hookbait for 12lb 3oz
Third place with 10lb Pete Hunt, Pete fished pole with pinkie hookbait catching one bream and roach.
Sections
A section Rob Parker, Rob fished cage feeder feeding groundbait, casters and dead reds, picking up eight skimmers and one bream for 9lb.
B Section Slide on, Rich Wood, skimmers on cage feeder for 6lb 15oz
C section Pete Hawkins, Pete was on the peg that normally has a few tench living in the hanging branches, but unfortunately, not today.

D section Tony Draper, Tony had two bream and a skimmer in the first 30 mins of the match. Only adding two more bream and two skimmers during the next five and a half hours.
Catching on cage feeder and maggot hookbait and putting 7lb 15oz on the scales.
We also ran a pairs competition today along side the main match, winners were Dave Frith and Rob Parker with a combined weight of 27lb 5oz.
Golden Pegs were 34 and 43 so another rollover until next Sunday.
